THEO ELWELL

Theo is an award-winning composer and arranger based in London, whose work for screen has earned international recognition with awards from MUSIC+SOUND Awards, International Sound and Music Festival, and Shots Awards. Alongside his work for film, he has arranged and conducted for multi-platinum and gold artists and producers, recently recording with Jesse Carmichael (Maroon 5) and the Hollywood Studio Symphony at Sony's Scoring Stage in Los Angeles.

Other credits include the double BAFTA-winning series Who Do You Think You Are?, BBC's critically acclaimed The Holy Land & Us, and collaborations with Academy Award-winner Hoyte van Hoytema. He has also contributed as orchestrator and music editor to a number of projects including the Ivor Novello-nominated Three Little Birds and Netflix's The Spider-Man of Paris. 

Theo studied violin and composition with a double scholarship at London's Trinity Laban Conservatoire. In 2025, he studied conducting under Mark Shapiro as part of the Juilliard School Extension programme, and was invited to participate in the 10th anniversary Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive - whose alumni include Ludwig Göransson (Oppenheimer, Sinners) and Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Shrinking).
